WHAT IS WO!?

Who is it
aimed at?

WALMA Dynamic Group’s entrepreneurship and innovation programme. It aims to reach a hundred start-ups in fast early stage or growth stage with products and services already launched in the sectors of interest of WDG and its corporate partners

CORPORATE PARTNERS

BEWATT: A division specialised in projects to do with e-mobility, with a principal focus point on developing new technologies for electric sports.

WCS: A division dedicated to the development of Artificial Intelligence software and the distribution of disruptive Cloud solutions in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

DEHISPA: Main division within the Group, specialising in integrated project management since 1984, with a strong international presence.

The WO! Scouting will be the first filter of all the forms to make a primary LONG LIST. (Limited to 100 startups among the 3 WO! divisions).

Evaluation and filtering.

All the pitch decks of each of the selected startups will be filtered by our WALMA Innovation department, which will create a personalized and detailed report of each of the 30 preselected Startups (10startups per vertical) with which a short list is made.

LIST

Final list.

To establish bases and criteria in this last selection phase, a sector report will be created not only to align the latest relevant sector trends but also to align them with the future needs of WDG and its corporate partners.

The selection process will be supported by reference companies in the sector, recognized investors, active mentors, reference media and investors active in the ecosystem.

After the valuation sessions, our expert committee and after reviewing the data provided by the start-ups on their value proposition, investment data, billing, business metrics and forecast, will finally proceed to select the best start-ups in each vertical. They will be invited to take part in a mentoring program with the WALMA Innovation team prior to the WOs! INNOVATION AWARDS.

WO! INNOVATION AWARD?

The chosen startups will have the opportunity to make a 20’ elevator pitch in front of the WDG management and its associated corporate partners, business angels, and media from the sector, where they will assessed, voted on, and awarded a prize and a non-refundable financial contribution.
