Created with the aim of spreading the values of the young Spanish driver and continuing her solidarity work with sick and disadvantaged groups. PRIMERA ESTRELLA (FIRST STAR) Programme:
ANA CAROLINA DIEZ MAHOU FOUNDATION<\/p>\n

The programme is also present in the Socio-Sport football and basketball school, together with the Real Madrid Foundation, and at the canoeing school in Aranjuez. Since the beginning of this programme, more than 20,000 treatments have been financed for 200 children.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPrimera Estrella\u201d programme helps these children, with a very short life expectancy and no cure, get the complete medical attention they need, with physiotherapy sessions in rooms, in water, music therapy, dog therapy, equine therapy, hippotherapy, home physiotherapy, psychological help, occupational therapy, speech therapy and SAAC.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe programme is also present in the Socio-Sport football and basketball school, together with the Real Madrid Foundation, and at the canoeing school in Aranjuez. Since the beginning of this programme, more than 20,000 treatments have been financed for 200 children.\n<\/p>\n

MARIA DE VILLOTA Homes
CARITAS PARROQUIA SAN ROMAN NONATO<\/p>\n

\nThe needs of the centenary Parroquia San Ram\u00f3n Nonto in Puente de Vallecas and the desire to help of the \u201cMaria de Villota Legacy\u201d came together to set up the \u201cMaria de Villota Residence\u201d, which would eventually become the \u201cMaria de Villora Home\u201d.\n<\/p>\n

\nIts aim is to become a home that provides shelter, peace, accommodation and maintenance for mothers with or without babies, in extreme difficulty. This initiative is complemented by workshops and activities that favour their integration, training and the search for solutions for the future of these mothers and their children.\n<\/p>\n

The \u201cMar\u00eda de Villota Home\u201d and the \u201cSan Jos\u00e9 Social Dining\u201d, managed by C\u00e1ritas Parroquial de \u201cSan Ram\u00f3n Nonato\u201d in Madrid, were inaugurated at the beginning of 2017.<\/p>\n

The parish priest D. Jos\u00e9 Manuel Horcajo, Sister Sara and the large team of volunteers are the soul of this great social work, and, since 2017, the \u201cMar\u00eda de Villota Home\u201d has become.<\/p>\n

The aim of the lectures is to give us a moment of reflection, and even to offer a different way of facing our day to day life. During the lectures, a journey through the values that were Maria’s DNA throughout her personal and professional life is carried out.\n<\/p>\n

\nIn support of the words of the former F1 driver and Mar\u00eda’s father, Alfonso Jim\u00e9nez, co-founder of the Mar\u00eda de Vollota Legacy and former director of the Fundaci\u00f3n Deporte Joven, different audiovisual content is projected, through which Mar\u00eda talks about her way of acting to achieve her goals, showing the enthusiasm and optimism with which she faced new and exciting challenges, after the dreams she had always fought for were cut short.\n<\/p>\n

More than a hundred lectures held to date also contribute to raising funds to meet the needs of the Mar\u00eda de Villota Legacy projects, especially the \u201cPrimera Estrella\u201d programme. At the same time, they contribute to the \u201cF\u00f3rmula 1 Kilo\u201d (1 Kilo Formula)action through the contribution, by the attendees, of food that is then distributed among disadvantaged people.<\/p>\n

\nThe \u201cJarama Maria de Villota Race\u201d takes place on the legendary Jarama Circuit on the morning of the 24th of December, in full solidarity and for families.\n<\/p>\n

This race welcomes more than 2,000 participants every year. The RACE and the Runners’ Club organise this race with a marked family and solidarity character in support of the \u201cPrimera Estrella\u201d programme, the distribution of food at the Cottolengo del Padre Alegre and the \u201cMaria de Vollota Homes\u201d – \u201cSan Jos\u00e9 Dining\u201d.<\/p>\n

\nOnce a year, this solidarity race is organised by the Maria de Villota Legacy with the Ana Carolina Diez Mahou Foundation in collaboration with the Pe\u00f1a de Fondo Cantabria, the Santander City Council Sports Department, and the Municipal Sports Institute.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe Mar\u00eda de Villota Mile was born in 2014 promoted by the Santander City Council and the Fundaci\u00f3n Deporte Joven (Youth Sport) of the Higher Sports Council.\n<\/p>\n

The funds raised from registrations and merchandising sales will go entirely to the \u201cFirst Star\u201d programme. The litres of milk collected through the \u201cF\u00f3rmula 1Litro\u201d (1 Litre Formula) programme will be donated to underprivileged people through \u201cHijas de la Caridad Economic Kitchen of Santander\u201d in Santander.<\/p>\n

The involvement and support provided by sponsors and the Santander City Council make the event possible.<\/p>\n
